To help reduce costs and ensure materials are available at the start of term, the Campus Store encourages the adoption of low-cost and digital formats (such as eTextbooks) where appropriate. Early submission of course material information allows the Campus Store to plan sourcing, licensing, and delivery efficiently.
This form supports early planning. If your course materials change later, please email updates to textbooks@viu.ca within a reasonable timeframe so adjustments can be made where possible.
To ensure learning materials are available for students at the beginning of classes, course material preparation is operationally finalized 90 days prior to the start of term. Submissions received after this point may result in:
- Limited format options
- Delayed availability
- Reduced ability to source physical materials
The Campus Store will continue to support late submissions where possible; however, availability cannot be guaranteed.
