Description
This position entails planning the two feast days held by Indigenous/Xwulmuxw Studies at the end of Fall and Spring semesters.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate will work together with the department supervisor to plan and implement the various stages of the event.
Duties include:
1. Organizing and coordinating student participation, including planning, preparation, and menu planning
2. Seeking support for the event from local communities
3. Coordinating the event on the day and providing Master of Ceremonies assistance
4. Organizing and supervising set up and clean up of the feast venue
