The International Relations Director was the coordinator and sole connection between the BSA and the international student community. This role will act as a liaison for the BSA and the international community.

Position Overview

The Business Students’ Association at Vancouver Island University is dedicated to providing business students with opportunities and experiences outside of the classroom in order to develop a network of professional, passionate, and community-focused leaders who are not afraid to continually incorporate the art of fun.

The International Relations Director is the coordinator and sole connection between the BSA and the international student community. This role is the liaison between the BSA and the international community. Responsibilities included organizing and participating in events for the international student community, developing creative ways to engage international students with the rest of the university community, and spreading awareness about the BSA to the international community all to increase international outreach. In addition, responsibilities include working alongside the VP of External to ensure international student engagement is handled properly.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum time commitment for this position is three hours a week.
