The Vice President of Marketing was the sole controller of the representation of the BSA through traditional and digital marketing tactics.

Position Overview

The Business Students’ Association at Vancouver Island University is dedicated to providing business students with opportunities and experiences outside of the classroom in order to develop a network of professional, passionate, and community-focused leaders who are not afraid to continually incorporate the art of fun.

The VP Marketing is the sole controller of the representation of the BSA through traditional and digital marketing tactics. Digital tactics include maintaining social media accounts in a way that promotes the BSA while creating intriguing conversations, as well as via our website. Traditional tactics include posters and the “BSA Board” being updated with relevant content that promotes upcoming events and opportunities. The student in this position will also be communicating and assigning tasks to the Social Media, Content Developer, and Photographer Directors that are in line with the societal strategy, reporting to the presidential team with potential concerns and progress on events, procedures, etc.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum time commitment for this position is four hours a week
