The director is responsible for events that engage and recognize the local community including charities and BSA partners.

Position Requirements

The Business Students’ Association at Vancouver Island University is dedicated to providing experiential learning opportunities for students to help the development of the business leaders of tomorrow.

The Director of Community Engagement is responsible for building connections to the local community to create opportunities for students off campus and to expand the external relationships the BSA has within community. Responsibilities include, representing the BSA to students, faculty, and the local community, developing strong relationships and contact points with the various venues and/or community members involved, and work alongside as well as report event progress to the Vice President of Events. Estimated time commitment is 2 hours per week.
