The Earth Science Fossil Collection Curator was responsible for creating a catalogue of the Cranberry Arms fossil collection to make this extraordinary collection accessible to the university, general, and scientific communities.

Position Overview

The Earth Sciences department is looking for a keen, science-minded student to assist with the cataloging and curation of a unique local fossil collection. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a catalog of the Cranberry Arms fossil collection to make this extraordinary collection accessible to the university, general, and scientific communities.  

Specific tasks will include aggregation and creation of accessory literature, photographing, labeling, and curating of samples, and creation of a searchable shared database.
