Marketing Week Event Intern - Marketing

This position assists the Event Chair in various event positions, such as Finance, Marketing, Sponsorship and Program Development.

Position Requirements

The Marketing Department, Faculty of Management, is initiating it's strategic initiative in March 2018 Mark It Up - Marketing Week that integrates marketing department classes and curriculum with the broader community to provide a high quality experiential learning experience for Marketing and other Faculty of Management students. The initiative entails event management, planning, fundraising, implementation, surveying and evaluation. The marketing department seeks to hire up to two interns for the Fall 2017 and up to two interns for the Spring 2018 to work with the Mark It Up planning committee to develop and implement the Marketing Week program and to work with other departments, the community, and the university to successfully implement this event. Key activities may include developing a sponsorship plan, program delivery options, marketing, evaluation, volunteer coordination.
