Description
In this position, the SafeTalk Coordinator student works alongside SafeTalk facilitators to plan, coordinate, promote and execute SafeTalk sessions. The sessions raise awareness and train participants in suicide alertness and prevention.
Position Requirements
SafeTalk is a three hour workshop that provides participants with suicide awareness training. Suicide awareness includes learning how to recognize the signs of suicide and how to communicate with someone who may be experiencing displaying these signs.
The SafeTalk coordinator plans, organizes, promotes, and executes these workshops alongside of a trained SafeTalk facilitator.
