Description
Provides leadership, organization, and guidance to the club executive and members. Oversees events, finances, and club integrity. The President cultivates community within the discipline, on campus, and within the greater region through volunteerism, social events, community outreach, and fundraising activities.
Position Requirements
The President of the Criminology Student Association is responsible for all club affairs and as such requires an individual who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and determined in leading and planning an extensive but realistic schedule of events.
The President is accountable for ensuring compliance with all VIUSU and VIU policies and regulations, the management of bylaws and constitution, and club integrity. This position also entails calling and facilitating executive and general meetings, setting agendas, overseeing financial aspects, events and event committees, and maintaining social media presence.
