Vice President - Criminology Student Association

Description

Assists in providing leadership, organization, and guidance to the club and its members. Oversees events and facilitates meetings when required. The Vice President cultivates community within the discipline, on campus, and within the greater region through volunteerism, social events, community outreach, and fundraising activities.

Position Requirements

The Vice President of the Criminology Student Association is responsible for assisting in all club affairs and as such requires an individual who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and determined in planning and leading an extensive schedule of events.

The Vice President oversees and assists the class representatives in executing their duties. This position involves ensuring compliance with all VIUSU and VIU policies and regulations as well as club bylaws. Along with the President and Secretary, they coordinate meetings and social media, occasionally facilitating. The Vice President also attends and engages in club meetings, plans, and coordinates events, and represents VIU, VIUSU, and the Criminology Department at events.
