Hi Folks!
My name is Jeffrey Sheppard. This will be my last year at VIU, as I will be graduating from the BA program with a major in psychology, a minor in business, and an Addictions Studies Certificate. Fall 2021 will be my first year working with the PSL program, but I have a background in training and development in the hospitality industry, so I’ve been teaching and coaching people for a long time. I’m looking forward to supporting all of the engaged learners starting their post-secondary journey that I can, and I hope I can help y’all cultivate efficient and productive study techniques that you can use through the entirety of your academic career.
When I’m not on campus in Nanaimo, I’m volunteering with the Nanaimo Family Life Association, studying for my next big exam, working with my partner on our homestead on Gabriola Island, or sailing on the Salish Sea.
