You may need to book a temporary accommodation while looking for long-term housing. Some hotels offer discounts to VIU students for longer stays. You may need to present identification and your VIU enrollment letter. Email housing@viu.ca for current partners' rates and call hotels in advance for availability.
Students have also used the Painted Turtle Guesthouse, Airbnb and Vrbo for short-stays.
