The VIU MBA Community Engagement Ambassadors (CEA) are a select team of 4-6 students who work closely with the MBA internship team to support flagship events and develop additional networking and engagement opportunities. The MBA CEAs will interface with employers, alumni, faculty, staff and students.
The goal of the MBA CEA is to contribute to and create meaningful community engagement opportunities, inspiring MBA students to get engaged and build meaningful relationships with our business community.
- 1 year. Fall cohorts: January to December. Spring cohorts: May to the following April.
- 2-5 hours per week including monthly team meetings.
Participation is currently voluntary. You will have numerous opportunities to develop your professional network engaging with employers and alumni, including exclusive pre-event networking.
- Must be a proactive and responsible problem solver who can both lead and support the team.
- Must be enrolled full-time and in good standing in the VIU MBA program.
- Must have activated your CareerVIU account and completed the application for access to the MBA Module.
Applications will be accepted as follows:
MBA Program Fall start students: January of each year
MBA Program Spring start students: May of each year
Eligible MBA cohorts will receive an email that contains an application form when the application period for their cohort opens.
Applications received outside the official application period will not be considered or saved.
