Position Overview
As a Conference Delegate at the Vancouver Island Leadership Conference (VILC), the individual is expected to actively participate in a range of activities designed to enhance leadership abilities. The role involves attending workshops and seminars where delegates can learn from experienced leaders and acquire knowledge on various leadership strategies. Networking is a key component of the conference, with delegates expected to connect with professionals from different fields, fostering relationships that can lead to collaborative opportunities. Delegates are also encouraged to contribute to community-building exercises, which aim to develop a sense of teamwork and collective problem-solving. Throughout the conference, the delegate will have the opportunity to engage in discussions, share insights, and apply new concepts to real-world scenarios, thereby gaining a well-rounded experience in leadership development.
