The Director of Merchandising was responsible for planning, implementing and marketing the new merchandise line by the BSA.
Position Overview
The Business Students’ Association at Vancouver Island University is dedicated to providing business students with opportunities and experiences outside of the classroom in order to develop a network of professional, passionate, and community-focused leaders who are not afraid to continually incorporate the art of fun.
As the sole coordinator of merchandise for the BSA, the Director of Merchandising is responsible for designing, planning and implementing the BSA merchandising line. Responsibilities include building a relationship with a clothing company, designing the logo for the clothing and developing an inventory system. In addition, the director works alongside the marketing team to design and implement a marketing plan to advertise the new merchandise line.
Position Requirements
Minimum time commitments for this position is three hours a week
