This student created a project while nearing the end of their university years that integrated and applied what they have learned. The project may have been a research paper, a performance, a portfolio of their best work, or an exhibit of their artwork.
Position Overview
Whether they’re called “senior capstones” or some other name, these culminating experiences require students nearing the end of their university years to create a project of some sort that integrates and applies what they’ve learned. The project might be a research paper, a performance, a portfolio of their best work, or an exhibit of artwork.
There is a Capstone Project Award. The recipient of this award will be taken from the pool of registrants that indicate they are part of a research project at registration.
Position Requirements
- At registration, the registrant indicates if the project would be considered an Internship project.
- Before the conference each individual student must submit a 300-word personal reflection essay about the new insights they gained from participating in their project. They need to include the three Graduate Attributes associated with this position
