This student demonstrated a self-regulated and active approach to learning and attended at least ten (10) Peer Supported Learning sessions per semester, per university course. They collaborated with peers outside of regularly scheduled classes to foster deeper understanding of challenging academic concepts and to contribute to the development of a community of learners within their discipline.
Position Overview
Peer Supported Learning (PSL) Members are students who demonstrate a self-regulated and active approach to learning. They voluntarily attend at least ten (10) PSL sessions per semester, per university course. They collaborate with peers outside of regularly scheduled classes to foster a deeper understanding of challenging academic concepts and contribute to the development of a community of learners within their discipline.
PSL Members are students who take control of their learning, dedicate time to attend at least ten (10) PSL sessions per semester, take an active role in their own learning and the learning of others, work with other PSL attendees, and engage in all session activities.
Position Requirements
Must attend at least 10 PSL sessions per semester, per course.

Students in this position will gain skills in collaboration, disciplinary expertise, foundations for lifelong learning, inquiry and ways of knowing, oral communication, and written communication.
