Cancellations:
- VIU Athletics and Recreation reserves the right to cancel any event or program for any reason; in this case, a full refund will be issued.
- Cancellations by the department will be communicated via email and full refunds will be processed.
Refund requests:
- Registration in any Mariners Recreation, Outdoor Recreation, Fitness, Intramurals, Special Events, or Mariner Athletics program is non-transferable.
- Overnight programs and special event registrations are non-refundable.
- If the refund is being requested more than 7 days before the start of the program, a 50% refund will be issued.
- If the refund is being requested 7 days or less before the start of the program, no refund will be issued.
- Once a multi-session program has started, refunds will be pro-rated up to a maximum of 50% of the total program fee.
- If there are special circumstances for your refund request, you must submit the request in writing to David Forrester, Manager Athletics and Recreation at david.forrester@viu.ca.
