The Co-Curricular Involvement App is a mobile and desktop application. The application creates opportunities for VIU students, faculty and employees, by delivering highly powered personalized experiences, creating new avenues for communication, driving student outcomes with the power of AI and building a connected data-driven campus. The application is both mobile and desktop friendly.
Access Admin Tools
Logging into Admin Tools is simple! Please follow these steps -
- Go to https://involvio.com and click "Admin Login" in the upper-righthand corner
- Select your school
- Choose your role
- Login with the same email or username and password you use for the mobile app!
Access Desktop Version
Logging into the desktop version is sometimes useful to preview your work. Please follow these steps -
- Make an Incognito browser window (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) - this is required to prevent the app from redirecting you to admin tools.
- Go to https://cocurricularapp.viu.ca
- Select your school
- Choose your role
- Login with the same email or username and password you use for the mobile app!

Guides
Guides direct students through a set of events that are part of an overarching program or event. With guides, you can incorporate multiple schedules (tracks) or separate multiple events into different categories for smaller groups of students from your whole audience.
Events
Events allow students to discover your programs around campus, the more events that are added, the more events students will be able to find to fit their interests, thus increasing student engagement both in your program, as well as in the whole campus.
Groups
Groups set out to create a space in the app where different campus departments or student cohorts can have a calendar of events & discussions between group members, and to allow the student body to discover events hosted by different groups on campus.
Community Feed
The Co-Curricular App's community student feed is a place where students and faculty/staff can post updates, ask questions or even list textbooks for sale!
Resources
Resources is a dedicated tab for students to quickly access important resources in one centralized place. Specific resources can be also visible to various cohorts of students.
Rewards
The Rewards Program aids in determining the quantity and extent of student learning related to co-curricular activities. Using a tiered-points rewards system, that can measure how much students are engaging with VIU’s various on- and off-campus events, as well as be an effective tool for motivating and rewarding the students’ co-curricular engagements.
