The work-integrated learning (WIL) employer toolkit was created to provide tools and information to support employers in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and offboarding students in their workplaces.
In the toolkit, you will find a number of fillable PDF documents that can be used in the planning and implementation of experiential learning opportunities, from position creation to weekly check-ins and student exit interviews. Rather than a long and wordy document, the toolkit is designed in an easy-to-read format, consisting of short worksheets and information sheets that can be easily downloaded and shared.
The toolkit is not meant to add additional work for employers but rather to offer a series of optional tools that can supplement and support the employer in mentoring students in their experiential learning journey.
