The Reading Circle and Group Coaching Member was a group coaching and reading circle group that meets weekly from October to December, which is 10 weeks. Students were required to read 11 chapters in the book and discuss their thoughts and shared their results from the practical activities found in program readings.

Position Requirements

This group coaching and reading circle group met weekly over a 10-week period from October to December. Students were required to read 11 chapters in the book and have discussed their thoughts and shared their results from the practical activities found in program readings.

Students were invited to take control of their life by applying design principles to solvable problems in life. Designers create worlds and solve problems through design thinking. Together the group learned and applied the principles of design thinking to their lives. The book read was written by Burnett and Evans, who teach the course “Designing Your Life” at Stanford University. There was discussion regarding the book chapters, as well as work through and discuss the applied activities provided in the text.
