Position Overview
This student position works under the supervision of the Academy Awards Gala Committee Chair. The student assists with finding sponsors for the Academy Awards Gala Fundraiser and helps organize and promote events with University Relations. The Gala is a fundraiser for future students awards for students taking academic English courses.
Duties include liaising with University Relations, developing targeted fundraising tactics for the event, including helping to identify potential contributors, assisting with promotion and organization of the event, and identifying specific logistics and organizational needs.
