Position Overview
The student in this position is responsible for aiding the operation of VIU’s Malaspina Theatre.
The Theatre Assistant is responsible for assisting with all technical operations of the theatre facility, sorting of tools and hardware, sorting and filing gels for lighting, cleaning and basic maintenance of lighting, sound, and other shop equipment, assisting with setup in the theatre and lobby for theatre events, and maintaining costumes and props, including dressing rooms and storage areas.
