Position Overview

As a Finance Coordinator for the Vancouver Island Leadership Conference (VILC), the individual is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the conference. This includes overseeing the registration process to ensure fees are collected accurately and efficiently. The coordinator is tasked with maintaining a detailed budget, tracking all income and expenses associated with the event to ensure financial stability and transparency. Regular financial reporting is a key duty, requiring the coordinator to compile and present reports that reflect the conference's financial health. This role demands a high level of analytical and organizational skills, as the coordinator must be able to interpret financial data and make informed decisions to support the success of the conference. The Finance Coordinator plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of the conference by ensuring that all financial practices adhere to the highest standards.

Position Requirements

  • Experience in financial management and budgeting,
