Description
This position supports The High School Summer Program. The Recreation Activity Supervisor attends daily activities and ensures all other recreation staff has the equipment they need and all activities are carried out as per schedule and plan.
Position Requirements
- The Supervisor will, in coordination with the Program Coordinator, create a calendar of activities for The High School Summer Program. This will include contacting and booking facilities, programs, and resources as necessary.
- Once the summer program begins, the Supervisor will make sure the other recreation activity staff are prepared for daily activity programs, have all necessary equipment, instructions, directions, etc. and fulfill all Activity Leader requirements as a member of the activity staff.
- The Supervisor will report directly to the Program Coordinator who will oversee the entire program.
Sign-up Directions
Preferred skills: A Class 4 driver's license and an approved VIU Driver's Permit.
The cost for a medical test and one driver's test will be reimbursed to the successful candidate.
