Position Overview

As the Registration and Logistics Coordinator for the Vancouver Island Leadership Conference, the individual in this role is responsible for the detailed planning and execution of event logistics. This includes managing participant registrations, ensuring a seamless sign-up process, and handling any inquiries related to attendance. The coordinator schedules various workshops and sessions, working closely with speakers and facilitators to align their availability and resources. They play a crucial role in the overall organization of the conference, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. The coordinator must also anticipate and solve any logistical challenges that may arise, ensuring that the event runs smoothly and participants have a positive experience. Position Requirements

  • Experience in event planning and coordination,
  • Proficiency in registration management systems,
  • Knowledge of logistics management,

  • Familiarity with event planning software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent),
