Position Overview

The position of Student Events Lead for the Co-Curricular Involvement (CCR) App involves a multifaceted role where the individual is responsible for organizing and overseeing student events. This includes ensuring that events adhere to the standards set by the Vancouver Island University (VIU). The role requires the individual to collect and analyze data related to event attendance and engagement, providing insights for future event planning and improvement. Additionally, the Student Events Lead must ensure that all events are accurately represented on the CCR App, which serves as a platform for students to track their involvement in co-curricular activities. The position offers an opportunity to enhance leadership skills through the management of events and teams, as well as analytical skills through the interpretation of event data. The Student Events Lead is expected to work collaboratively with other team members, demonstrate strong organizational abilities, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all duties.

Requirements

  • Experience in event planning and management
