Description
Residence Life is the comprehensive program that surrounds living on campus. The Program Leaders enhance the residents' experience by hosting events and delivering services that build residents' engagement with their peers, develop resiliency, and enrich their co-curricular experience.
Position Requirements
As the Communication and Campus Life assistant, this Work-Op student is expected to:
- Manage a professional and engaging presence on all of the ResTide’s social media accounts to promote residence life and campus life programs, contests, and announcements
- Post at least weekly on all platforms
- Update the ResLife Calendar with residence life and campus life activities and events
- Follow and monitor individual house social media accounts
- Represent Residence Life on the Student Leadership Circle
- Collaborate with campus partners such as VIUSU, Student Affairs, Marketing and Communications, Co-Curricular Engagement, and Enrollment Services
- Provide the Office of Co-Curricular Engagement with referrals of students who could lead Campus Life activities
