Residence Life is the comprehensive program that surrounds living on campus. Orientation programs assistant is responsible for assisting the leadership of VIU Residences Annual Storm the Shore Residences Orientation Program.
Position Requirements
Duties and responsibilities associated with this position include program planning:
- Material purchase
- Program set up, leadership
- Takedown and follow up
- Communications; editing
- Office work as requested and attendance of weekly meetings
Specific duties for this work op include:
- Program planning
- Implementation, review and documentation for all orientation and training week programs
- Miscellaneous office work
- Program assistance
- Communication between management and res life team
- Attendance of weekly meetings
