This Director coordinates and builds academic workshops and competitions to Faculty of Management students.
Position Requirements
As the coordinator of increasing the availability of academic workshops and competitions, responsibilities include increasing student advocacy through various aspects on campus. In addition, responsibilities include supporting with the VP of Academics with the planning, promoting, and creating content for workshops and competitions, as well as evaluating the need/ want of a mentorship program and implement accordingly. Other responsibilities include providing more governance opportunities to Faculty of Management students by communicating with the Faculty of Management, Students’ Union, and Vancouver Island University on a departmental level. Estimated time commitment is 3 hours/week.
