The Peer Supported Learning Mentor was an experienced PSL Leader who showed exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills. They assisted the PSL Coordinator and supported PSL Leaders as they developed their session facilitation skills.

Position Overview

Peer Supported Learning Mentors are experienced PSL Leaders who show exceptional, communication, organization, and leadership skills. They assist the PSL Coordinator and support PSL Leaders as they develop their session facilitation skills.

The primary function of the PSL Mentor is to provide support to PSL Leaders. This includes observing PSL Leaders’ learning sessions and providing feedback and suggestions for improvement based on training and protocol. They also assist with planning and implementing PSL meetings and training, and facilitating small group leader meetings.

Other activities involve assisting the coordinator with the development and maintenance of ongoing promotion, communication, and statistical information.

Position Requirements

  • Experience as a PSL Leader
