This was a group coaching and reading circle group that met weekly for 10 weeks from October to December. Students were required to read 11 chapters in the book and discussed their thoughts and shared their results from the practical activities found in program readings.

Position Overview

This group coaching and reading circle meets weekly over a 10-week period from October to December. Students are required to read 11 chapters in the book and discuss their thoughts and share their results from the practical activities found in program readings.

Students are invited to take control of their life by applying design principles to solvable problems in life. Designers create worlds and solve problems through design thinking. Together the group learned and applied the principles of design thinking to their lives.The book was written by Burnett and Evans, who teach the course “Designing Your Life” at Stanford University. There is discussion regarding the book chapters, as well as work through and discuss the applied activities provided in the text.
