Join VIU Counsellors for 8 weeks of Mindfulness practice and learning. This workshop will provide you with foundational training in the practice of mindfulness and its application in reducing stress and improving functioning.

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • Increase calm and clarity
  • Increase resilience and enthusiasm for life
  • Practice Mindfulness
  • Manage stress and emotions
  • Slow down to nourish and care for yourself

This group is free! A 30-minute pre-group interview is mandatory to join.

Dates: October 13 to December 8, 2022 (no group for reading week Nov 7-11)

Full day retreat Saturday, November 26 from 9:00am to 3:00pm
