Learn Mindfulness on Campus

Join VIU Counsellors for 8 weeks of Mindfulness practice and learning. Mindfulness practice can be found in many places but what does it mean and how can it be beneficial to university students? This workshop will provide you with foundational training in the practice of mind-fulness and its application in reducing stress and improving functioning.

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • Increase calm and clarity
  • Increase resilience and enthusiasm for life
  • Practice Mindfulness
  • Manage stress and emotions
  • Slow down to nourish and care for yourself

This group is free! A 30-minute pre-group interview is mandatory to join.
