Artery Project

Position Overview

The successful candidate will assist with research and development of the Artery Project (Arts and Humanities Digital Signage initiative).
Duties will include:
  • Graphic design
  • Testing of Media distribution methods and security
  • Distribution protocols
  • VIUtube accounts
  • Email management
  • Social media streams
  • WordPress management
  • Brand identity
  • Templates for content proposals
  • Templates for still image content
  • Templates for video content (feature & promo)
  • Video production
  • Motion graphics
  • Audio/video content creation
  • Database management
Research skills the student will develop:
  • Data Collection/Analysis
  • Report writing or Presentation of findings
  • Critical and Creative Thinking
  • Planning and Implementation
  • Critical analysis
Interviewing, onboarding and training will occur via Email, D2L, Zoom.
Attending meetings with various campus departments, and the documentation and presentation of findings/outcomes will also be a part of this position.

Position Requirements

Must be a current student in the Graphic Design BA program.
Candidate is required to fulfill all Work Op eligibility requirements.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and social media tools.
Must also have their own personal laptop.
