Was part of a committee, promoted student engagement in the Sustainable Development Event. Attended the event as student hosts, connecting with the students who came to the event and promoted intellectual curiosity and interest in the areas and topics covered.
Position Requirements
VIU Powell River is hosting a Sustainable Development Event on January 21st, 2020. This event will host members of the academic community and public on a diversity of topics ranging from poverty to housing to education and the environment. In an effort to promote student engagement, the student engagement team will promote various measures to draw the student population to campus, and act as hosts to maintain student engagement in the event.
