The Executive Vice-President supported all portfolios in various capacities, managed the website, implemented stress management strategies, and provided feedback to the President.

Position Overview

The Business Students’ Association at Vancouver Island University is dedicated to providing business students with opportunities and experiences outside of the classroom in order to develop a network of professional, passionate, and community-focused leaders who are not afraid to continually incorporate the art of fun.

The Executive Vice-President has the sole purpose to help oversee and support all portfolios as well as manage the website and implement stress management strategies. This is to ensure a positive and healthy team environment. In addition, the Executive Vice President is responsible for assisting in the overall societal strategy and providing necessary feedback to the President and the Vice Presidents of each Portfolio. They also support the President with developing internal processes, developing agendas, and chairing meetings.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum time commitment for this position is four hours a week.
