Position Overview
As a Student Project Lead for the CCR (Co-Curricular Record) App, the individual is responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of a digital application designed to serve over 2000 users. This role involves leading a team in the creation and implementation of new features, ensuring that the app meets the needs of its users effectively. The Student Project Lead works closely with faculty members and other stakeholders to gather requirements, set project timelines, and deliver updates. They are expected to coordinate the efforts of their team, manage project milestones, and communicate progress while troubleshooting any issues that arise. This position provides an opportunity to develop strong leadership and technical skills, as the lead is at the forefront of driving the project to success and ensuring that the app remains a valuable resource for the student body. The role demands a combination of project management, technical acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
Requirements
- Experience in app development
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Swift, Kotlin)
- Knowledge of mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in conducting user testing and feedback sessions
