Director of Merchandising is responsible for planning, implementing and marketing the new merchandise line by the BSA.
Position Requirements
The Business Students’ Association at Vancouver Island University is dedicated to providing experiential learning opportunities for students to help the development of the business leaders of tomorrow.
As the sole coordinator of merchandise for the BSA, the Director of Merchandising is responsible for designing, planning and implementing the BSA merchandising line. Responsibilities include building a relationship with a clothing company, designing the logo for the clothing and developing an inventory system. In addition, the director works alongside the marketing team to design and implement a marketing plan to advertise the new merchandise line. Estimated time commitment is 3 hours per week.
