Overview

The VIU Games Planning Team, operating under the banner 'Fun@VIU', is responsible for the organization and execution of the VIU Games, a series of sports events aimed at promoting engagement and community spirit within the campus. Team members are expected to demonstrate strong event planning capabilities, work collaboratively with fellow team members, and exhibit leadership qualities to ensure the smooth running of the games. Duties include conceptualizing events, coordinating with different departments, managing logistics, and overseeing the actual execution of the events to provide a fun and inclusive atmosphere. The role demands creativity, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with participants and stakeholders. The team's ultimate goal is to create memorable experiences that encourage active participation and foster a sense of camaraderie among students and staff at VIU.

Requirements
