Position Overview

The Co-Curricular Achievement Award - Student Leadership Circle is a prestigious recognition given to students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership during Student Leadership Circle (SLC) events. Individuals who receive this award are expected to have shown exceptional abilities in organizing, directing, and participating in activities that require close collaboration and teamwork. They must also possess strong communication skills, both in articulating their own ideas and in listening to others, to effectively lead and motivate their peers. Additionally, strategic planning is a key component of their role, as they are responsible for developing and implementing plans that achieve the goals of the SLC events. The award serves not only as an acknowledgment of past achievements but also as an encouragement for continued leadership development. Position Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in student organizations or initiatives,
  • Proven ability to organize and lead SLC events or similar activities,

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution of plans,
  • Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, SignUpGenius),
  • Knowledge of leadership theories and practices,
  • Ability to facilitate group discussions and workshops,
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills,
  • Experience in budget management for events or projects,
  • Understanding of group dynamics and team motivation techniques,
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana),
  • Capacity to work with diverse groups and foster inclusivity.
