Description
The Research Assistant position involved a variety of research based, such as conducting literature reviews, running quantitive data analyses using SPSS, running qualitative data analysis using NVivo. Additional duties included recruiting participants, transcribing interview data, and coding interviews using qualitative research methods (content analysis). Graduate attributes include scientific literacy, critical thinking, and foundations for lifelong learning.
Position Overview
The student in this position will be responsible for several research-based tasks and activities contributing to research projects currently being conducted in my lab. The specific duties will be decided in conjunction with the student in honour to best support their academic interests and goals. Duties may include recruiting participants and analyzing quantitive or qualitative data; transcribing or coding interviews; conducting a literature review and updating the review as required; writing a section of a manuscript; writing a draft of an ethics application.
