Peer Supported Learning Mentor - Peer Supported Learning

Description

Peer Supported Learning (PSL) Mentors are experienced PSL Leaders who show exceptional, communication, organization, and leadership skills.

They assist the PSL Coordinator, and support PSL Leaders as they develop their session facilitation skills.

Position Requirements

The primary function of the PSL Mentor is to provide support to PSL Leaders.

This includes:

  • Observing PSL Leaders learning sessions and providing feedback and suggestions for improvement (based on training and protocol)
  • Assisting with planning and implementing PSL meetings/training
  • Facilitating small group leader meetings

Other activities involve assisting the Coordinator with the development and maintenance of ongoing promotion, communication, and statistical information.
