RockVIU Leaders serve an integral role in welcoming new students to Vancouver Island University.
Position Requirements
Rock Stars are an integral part of welcoming new students to Vancouver Island University. They are recruited and trained during the summer period from May to August. The Rock Star program is facilitated through the Office of Co-Curricular Engagement and Learning.
Rock Stars welcome new students to campus through a variety of activities including RockVIU Welcome 2 Campus activities. Rock Stars also continue to welcome new students to campus and returning student back to campus in the Weeks of Welcome activities throughout the first few weeks of the semester.
