Position Overview
As a Volunteer Logistics Coordinator for the Vancouver Island Leadership Conference, the individual is responsible for the detailed organization and coordination of event logistics. This includes managing the schedules of all volunteers to ensure adequate staffing throughout the event, overseeing the registration process for attendees, and ensuring that workshops and other activities are executed smoothly and without issue. The role demands strong communication skills to enhance team collaboration and improve the overall planning and execution of the conference. The Volunteer Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in creating a successful and impactful experience for all participants by maintaining organization and addressing any logistical challenges that may arise.
Position Requirements
- Experience in event planning and coordination,
- Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Calendar),
- Knowledge of registration systems and database management,
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities,
