The student represented Mariner Athletics and helped ensure an exciting atmosphere in which our varsity teams play and our fans enjoy.
Position Overview
The student is responsible for assisting the Athletics division with the duties needed for the execution of athletic events both at VIU and off-site at playing fields. Staff are required for volleyball, basketball and soccer, with other various events as scheduled throughout the year.
Duties include gate/admission, concession, scorekeeping, videotaping, event operations including set up and take down, in-game promotions as well as other promotional activities, and community engagement opportunities.
