Overview
The Vice-Chair - Fun@VIU is a dynamic role focused on enriching the student experience through event planning and engagement activities. This individual is responsible for overseeing the organization and execution of campus events, ensuring they are both enjoyable and inclusive for a diverse student body. The Vice-Chair is expected to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and strategic thinking to effectively coordinate with team members, manage budgets, and liaise with other campus organizations. The role demands creativity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate peers to foster a sense of community and belonging. The Vice-Chair plays a crucial part in creating a vibrant campus atmosphere that promotes student involvement and contributes to the overall positive culture at VIU.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning and management,
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills,
